Urinalysis & Urinary Infection Treatment

Urinalysis and urinary infection treatment in Houston, TX, walk-in: if there is an infection, you leave with your treatment the same day. In Spanish.

At Clínica Hispana Airline we run your urine test at the clinic and, if there is an infection, you leave with your treatment the same day. **Walk-in**, with care in Spanish or English.

The typical symptoms

Burning when you urinate, a constant urge to go even when little comes out, cloudy or strong-smelling urine, discomfort in the lower abdomen. In women it is one of the most common visits; in men it is less common and **always worth looking into further**, because there is usually a cause behind it.

Why we test instead of treating blind

The urine test confirms there is an infection and points to the right antibiotic. Treating without testing is what leads to the wrong medication, symptoms returning two weeks later, and bacteria becoming resistant.

When not to wait

If **lower back or flank pain, fever or chills** appear, the infection may have moved up to the kidneys. That is no longer simple cystitis and is attended to immediately.

If they keep coming back

Three or more infections a year is not normal and does not get solved by repeating antibiotics. It is worth finding the cause: glucose control, habits, or in men a prostate workup. See [chronic condition care](/services/condiciones-cronicas) and [men's health exams](/services/salud-hombre).

What actually helps

Drinking water properly — not only once it already hurts — not holding it in, and finishing the full antibiotic course even if the burning stops on day two. Cranberry remedies do not replace treatment.
